Tiranti No3 Low Melt Alloy

A lead rich alloy specially produced for casting flat surfaces where porosity may be a problem. Use for casting car body shells, vehicle kits, railway modelling, loco kits, and parts. It has good flow properties, giving particularly good surface detail and good surface finish on flat areas. Low malleability. Contains Tin/ Antimony/ Lead.

• Melting point: 225°C
• Suggested operating temperature: 275°C to 295°C
