Tiranti Blue Machining and Carving Wax

Specially formulated wax. Can be carved, sawn, drilled, tapped and turned by normal processes and CNC mills, lathes and machining centres, giving a close finish to that of metal components; no coolant or lubricant is required and machining creates heavy swarf with no airborne dust.
Waste can be reclaimed by remelting and casting into suitable moulds a silicone release agent may be used. Please melt in a Bain Marie for best results.

• Softens at 110°C to 120°C (230°F to 248°F).
• Melts at 120°C (248°F).
• Flashpoint is 280°C (536°F).
• Specific Gravity 0.93.
• Shrinkage when casting, about 6.5%.
• Approx. weight 510g.
