Bister Patina is a dark brown liquid of a watery consistency. It is used to create a patina on Powertex Ivory and Terra Cotta. Simply brush on and wipe off. Bister will seep into the crevices and shallow areas leaving a darker contrast similar to an aged patina. To achieve a crackle or crazed surface effect, apply Bister to almost any Powertex surfaces then heat quickly with a hair dryer. Bister is not waterproof and must be protected with a coat of varnish.
