Potterycrafts Lithium Carbonate

Lithium carbonate is a glaze constituent acting as a flux in earthenware and stoneware glazes. It produces a good colour response in stoneware glazes bringing out blues with copper and pink with cobalt. Lithium glazes are known for the halo effect on textured surfaces.
