Dragon Skin 15 is a high performance platinum cure silicone rubber that is easy to use and versatile. Mix ratio is 1A:1B by weight or volume, pot life is 40 minutes and cure time is 7 hours at room temperature. Rubber cures with negligible shrinkage to a Shore 15A. Mixed viscosity is 21000 cps and vacuum degassing is recommended to minimize entrapped air. Color is water white translucent . PropertiesDragon Skin 15 is suitable for general mold making applications including making medical devices, creating creature effects, silicone baby manufacturing, sex toys, aerospace, casting plasters, concrete, wax, low-melt temperature melt metal alloys, resins and other platinum silicones (release agent required).

Dragon Skin 15 is compatible with other Dragon Skin rubbers. Color can be added with Silc Pig color pigments. This rubber can be thickened with Thi-Vex thickening agent or thinned down with Silicone Thinner.

Although not usually necessary, a release agent will make demolding easier when casting into or over most surfaces. Ease Release 200 is a proven release agent for making molds with silicone rubber and for releasing new silicone from cured silicone.Media
