Amaco Potter's Choice Flambe Brush-on Glaze

Flambé is a copper red glaze with tones of purple and blue, that gives the same results in oxidation as a traditional reduction copper glaze. Flambé breaks clear on edges or where thin.

• Reduction effects in Oxidation.
• Apply 3 coats, do not thin glaze.
• Works well over stoneware or porcelain clays.
• Fire at Cone 5-6.
• 1180-1241°C firing temperature.

Good to know:

• Achieve traditional high fire reduction looks in your Cone 5-6 electric kiln.
• These leadfree glazes are AP NON-TOXIC and can be safely sprayed and used on dinnerware. Please follow manufacturer instructions.
• The PC Series glazes look beautiful and authentic.
• Designed with the potter in mind! Add fluid colours and effects to smooth or textured ware, with optimal results at Cone 5/6.
