Amaco Low Fire Matt Red Brown Brush-on Glaze

Amaco Low Fire Red Brown Matte glaze is a satin-matte glazes that boast a bright, lively colour palette and a buttery soft surface after firing. Unlike more fluid glazes, these glazes are stiff and will not flow in the kiln, making them perfect for certain types of decorative techniques and surface treatment for both pottery and sculptural ware.

• Easy to use in a broad firing range from 1020°C to 1046°C (cone 4/5)
• Cups shown are on Red Clay (overglaze decals fired after)
• Cone 05 - 1046°C (at 150°C/hour for the final 100°C of firing) / 1915°F (at 270°F/hour in the final 200°F of firing)

Good to know:

• Ready mixed brush-on glaze.
• Apply by brushing, pouring, or dipping to cone 04 bisque: fire to cone 05.
• Non-toxic (lead-free)– Perfect for tableware. Please follow manufacturer instructions.
