Amaco High Fire Sahara Clear Zinc Free Brush-on Glaze

Zinc-Free Clear is a glossy glaze recommended for use with underglazes to reduce the incidence of colour shift. Most underglazes, stains, and colouring oxides will show their best colour with Zinc-Free Clear.

• Easy to use in a broad firing range from 1184°C to 1240°C (cone 5/6)
• Reliable glazes for Stoneware and Porcelain
• Mixable colours for custom palette.
• Always test new glazes and combination glazes.

Good to know:

• Translucent for textured surfaces.
• The Sahara glazes can be applied by brushing, dipping, or pouring.
• Non-toxic (lead-free)– Perfect for tableware. Please follow manufacturer instructions.
• The Sahara glazes can be applied next to each other with a slight overlap in order to let them flow slightly into each other.
